Putuo district in Zhoushan was recently honored as a model district in Zhejiang for its flourishing all-for-one tourism, local media reported. 

All-for-one tourism is a concept that highlights the integration of tourism resources with other industries. It was included in the government work report in 2017 to cater to the country's growing demand for tourist services. 

Putuo boasts the most tourist resources in Zhoushan, and is also one of the province's core ocean tourist destinations. Since being approved in February 2016 to be established as a national model district for all-for-one tourism, it has accelerated its efforts in promoting such tourism and made much progress. 

The district has strengthened reforms in tourism governance and established a modern management mechanism that coordinates the efforts of the local tourist department, police, tribunal and inspectors. It has also established the nation's first research institute that focuses on studies of island tourism.
