Trail Donghai 2024 is set to commence in Putuo district, Zhoushan, Zhejiang province on March 16.

The event is expected to draw over 1,700 participants, with 94 percent hailing from outside the city. This diverse group includes not only participants from various regions across China, but also 44 international participants residing in China, representing over 20 countries such as the United States, Germany, Japan, and France.

Notably, 40 percent of the total participants are female.

This event, recognized by the International Trail Running Association (ITRA), offers three categories —  a 60km race with a capacity of 500 participants, as well as 40km and 20km loop races, each accommodating 600 participants.
