Zhoushan in Zhejiang province released 11 well-being projects at the closing ceremony of the fourth session of the eighth Zhoushan Municipal People's Congress on Feb 3.

These projects, spanning education, healthcare, and living environment, aim to enhance residents' sense of fulfillment, happiness, and security, according to local authorities.

These projects include the renewal and management of aging urban gas pipelines, covering a total of 20 kilometers, as well as the enhancement of rural roads, spanning 115 kilometers.

In addition, the city is completing the construction of 341 new energy vehicle charging piles and promoting a "one-to-one" pairing between municipal ordinary high schools and high-quality high schools outside the city.

Furthermore, efforts are underway to deepen cooperation between Zhoushan hospitals and the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University to establish four high-level hospitals in counties and districts.

Other projects include the completion of cervical cancer vaccine inoculation for over 2,000 eligible junior high school students, the reconstruction and expansion of 14 standardized village clinics, and the improvement of living conditions for 120 households facing difficult circumstances.

In addition, the city plans to construct eight high-quality "happiness cafeterias" to enhance the well-being of the elderly.
