Zhu Renmin Art Museum opens

The Zhu Renmin Art Museum in Zhoushan, East China's Zhejiang province was opened to the public on April 21.

Dubbed a new cultural and tourism landmark in the city's Putuo district, the 1,500-square-meter museum displays Zhu's paintings, sculptures, calligraphy works, as well as design manuscripts of ecological restoration projects.

Zheng Ge, the deputy director of Putuo cultural center, said that the museum will also function as a marine culture exchange base offering public cultural services.

Zhu Renmin, who is dubbed China's Leonardo da Vinci, is best known for his oil paintings, traditional Chinese paintings, engravings, and sculptures.
