RMS Marine Service Co Ltd registered two companies on Xiaogan Island of Zhoushan in East China's Zhejiang province in August. 

The two companies will be engaged in pelagic fishing and shipyard operations. 

The establishment of the two companies will significantly facilitate the transformation and upgrading of Zhouzhan's marine service industry, according to authorities.

Founded in 1993, Shanghai-based RMS Group offers products and services such as ship materials, spare parts, equipment supplies, vessel safety checks and logistics solutions. 

The Group has 12 branches in cities such as Dalian, Qingdao, Zhoushan, and Guangzhou that hire more than 800 employees. It also has offices in Singapore, South Korea and the Netherlands that provide services for maritime companies, including the world's top five fleet management enterprises and major ship owners.
