The 6th Yangtze River Delta International Cultural Industries Expo is taking place at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai from Nov 20 to 22, bringing together cultural institutions and enterprises to highlight new achievements and emerging trends in cultural innovation.
This year, 10 cultural companies from Zhoushan in East China's Zhejiang province joined the event, showcasing the city's distinctive marine culture and digital creativity.
Zhoushan's exhibition area was divided into two sections — digital entertainment and intangible cultural heritage. The display featured the fishermen's paintings and related products, and national-level intangible cultural heritage wooden ship models, highlighting the depth of Zhoushan's maritime heritage.
Within the exhibition area, Guguo Shenyou (Zhoushan) exhibited a range of products combining AI and culture, including an AI creative agent, an 8K holographic Zen experience device of Putuo Mountain, and an AI-powered robot.
Zhoushan Jianglaoda presented fishermen's paintings by artist Jiang Deye, whose sand-mixed technique was featured in national museums.
Local cultural brand Zhoushan Gifts was also introduced at the expo. By innovatively integrating traditional elements with modern trends, this brand created culturally themed and practical creative products.
A cultural industries promotion event was also held in Shanghai on the same day. During the event, Zhoushan signed two cooperation projects: an AI script-creation strategic partnership and an online drama.
