A new air route between Zhoushan and Lishui in Zhejiang province opened on Oct 28, operated by China Express. With this launch, Zhoushan Putuoshan International Airport now connects to Quzhou, Wenzhou, and Lishui, becoming the first airport in Zhejiang to establish air links with three other cities within the province.

The maiden flight departed from Zhoushan Putuoshan International Airport at 7:30 am, while the return flight from Lishui took off at 1:50 pm. The Zhoushan–Lishui route operates every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, with one round-trip flight per day and a travel time of about one hour.
