Zhoushan in East China's Zhejiang province recently added a new romantic landmark, in the form of the 17,000-square-meter Mata Lawn Park.

It's now the biggest open green space on Huaniao Island — offering endless photo-worthy moments and scenic charm.

The park has two distinct vibes. On the left, an open lawn serves as a flexible stage for community gatherings, performances, picnics, and daytime camping. With no rigid entertainment setup, the space invites free, spontaneous fun in a relaxed setting.

On the right, a seaside lawn has quietly become a dream wedding venue. Framed by ocean and sky, with grass underfoot and the sound of waves nearby, couples can exchange their vows with nature as their witness.

The park's most iconic feature — a six-meter-high swing — offers breathtaking panoramic views of mountains, the sea, and the harbor. Swaying from side to side in the ocean breeze, visitors can rediscover a rare sense of lightness and freedom.
