As of the 137th Canton Fair's Phase III concluded on May 5, 32 companies from Zhoushan, East China's Zhejiang province, achieved an overall intentional transaction volume of $23 million for the whole three phases.
In the Phase III, 11 Zhoushan companies stationed 20 booths with products in areas such as toys, personal care items, pet products, and pharmaceuticals, reaching an intentional transaction volume of $7 million.
Zhoushan Kayalu Fashion Design had two booths, displaying personal care and professional protective gear products. The debut of professional protective gear received favorable attention from new customers. Over the five-day exhibition, orders for professional protective gear products have reached $30,000, with over 20 potential buyers showing interest.
Zhejiang Longyuan Sifang Machinery Manufacture, participating in the fair for 19 consecutive years, introduced their new premium cat litter in hopes of expanding to overseas markets. With products known for their high deodorizing and clumping capabilities, they attracted orders from several Southeast Asian customers, with current intended orders totaling $100,000.
Guo Lianghong, the business manager of Zhejiang Longyuan Sifang Machinery Manufacture, mentioned potential orders totaling around $4 to $5 million, with individual orders ranging from $2 to $3 million. The company's cat litter have gained traction domestically, and they aim to use the Canton Fair platform to expand their products internationally.
