Zhoushan's Daishan continues to boost maritime services

Updated : 2025-02-14 (chinadaily.com.cn)

Located in Daishan county, Zhoushan, Zhejiang province, the Qushan International Seamen's Service Center efficiently completed all procedures for a foreign seaman who needed to change shifts and leave the country urgently.

With the issuing of the detailed implementation plan to build a bulk commodity resource allocation hub within the China (Zhejiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone, Daishan has embraced a significant strategic opportunity. The plan's focus on establishing bases for bulk commodity storage, processing, and maritime services aligns perfectly with the functional positioning of the county.

To meet the service needs for building the bulk commodity resource allocation hub, the county continues to focus on the needs of enterprises and international seamen, facilitate port clearance for international seamen, and optimize its service measures.

The Qushan International Seamen's Service Center, completed at the end of last year, provides comprehensive and convenient maritime services for foreign-related enterprises and seamen.

The center also offers 30 types of services across 17 categories, including housing, medical care, education, and training for international workers. Additionally, it has a 24-hour self-service area for handling various comprehensive affairs.
