Zhoushan in East China's Zhejiang province welcomed around 1.84 million visitors during the Spring Festival holiday, including about 948,000 overnight tourists and 27,800 group tourists.

During the Spring Festival break, the Putuo Mountain scenic area and the Zhujiajian scenic area in Zhoushan attracted about 778,000 visitors – a 3.3 percent increase on the same period last year. And the Zhoushan Putuoshan International Airport handled passenger throughput of around 52,000.

From Jan 28 to Feb 4, the traffic volume on the Ningbo-Zhoushan Expressway totaled 501,179 vehicles, with 251,891 entering the islands and 249,288 exiting.

To celebrate Chinese New Year, Zhoushan organized 227 activities across the city. They created a festive and buoyant atmosphere, allowing visitors to experience the unique cultural charms of the islands.
