The Emerald Qushan, the 63,600-metric-ton international bulk carrier of Zhejiang Xin Yi Hai Shipping Co, was delivered by COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry Co in Zhoushan, Zhejiang province, on Nov 12.

With the delivery of the Emerald Qushan, Zhejiang Xin Yi Hai Shipping Co now owns 27 vessels, with a total carrying capacity of 1.2 million tons. These ships operate on routes that span the globe, enhancing the company's international shipping capabilities.

The Emerald Qushan measures 199.9 meters in length, 32.26 meters in width, and 18.85 meters in depth, with a structural draft of 13.5 meters. It is the third international bulk carrier ordered by Zhejiang Xin Yi Hai Shipping Co and built by COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry Co.

Additionally, the vessel boasts world-leading performance metrics in fuel consumption, speed, and environmental standards.

The successful delivery of the vessel showed the fruitful collaboration between COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry, Zhejiang Xin Yi Hai Shipping, and the Zhejiang branch of the China Classification Society, serving as a model of the development of Zhoushan's shipbuilding industry.
