A total of 237 enterprises and 841 professional buyers from Zhoushan, Zhejiang province, are attending the 7th China International Import Expo, which is being held from Nov 5 to 10 in Shanghai.

During this year's CIIE, Zhoushan will host and take part in key activities such as the Zhejiang Provincial Key Import Platform Promotion Conference and Import Procurement Signing Ceremony.

Local companies such as Zhejiang Xingye Group Co and Zhejiang Ocean Family Co will also attend the China Zhejiang-International Digital Economy and High-Tech Industry Matchmaking Conference.

Zhoushan enterprises will engage in various events and connect with leading import companies to explore new trade agreements.

The CIIE, held for six consecutive years, continues to improve its quality and strategic importance, while growing its international influence. The expo serves as a comprehensive platform for international procurement, investment promotion, cultural exchange, and open cooperation.

Over the past CIIEs, Zhoushan organized 1,437 procurement enterprises, achieving an intended purchase transaction value exceeding 4.25 billion dollars. The city has also participated in Zhejiang's major foreign investment projects signing ceremony for five consecutive years, with total investment agreements surpassing 1.75 billion dollars.
