A unique sports activity was held at a primary school in Shengsi county, Zhoushan, Zhejiang province, according to Tide News on Sept 26.

The event brought a variety of sporting equipment to the remote island school and provided an opportunity for students to interact with coaches and national athletes and try their hands at badminton, roller skating, baseball, rugby, and golf.

This event featured renowned athletes such as Ji Bowen, a Paris Olympic canoeing champion, Luo Yu, a former Chinese women's volleyball national team player, and Fang Kai, a national badminton championship winner.

Ji shared stories with the students, emphasizing that the key to becoming an Olympic champion is a deep passion for canoeing and relentless perseverance.

As a native of Shengsi county, Luo expressed her delight in seeing the improved sports facilities and resources at the school.
