The 2024 Formula Kite and TwinTip: Racing Asian Championships and the 2024 Kiteboard Tour China in Daishan concluded in Daishan county, Zhoushan, Zhejiang province, on Sept 22.

As the highest-level kiteboarding competition in Asia and China, this event provided an important platform for athletes to improve their international rankings and compete for annual Asian points and individual professional rankings.

The competition attracted 120 top kiteboarders from countries including China, the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, South Korea, Argentina, Germany, Greece, Lithuania, and Denmark.

In the 2024 Formula Kite and TwinTip: Racing Asian Championships, China's Li Wan, Liu Chenxue, and Xiao Meijing won the top three spots in the women's kite hydrofoil racing category, while China's Mo Yulu, Li Qiuyang, and Gao Jingjie secured the top three positions in the women's twin-tip racing category.

In the men's kite hydrofoil racing category, Singapore's Maximilian Maeder claimed the championship, with China's Zhang Haoran and Wu Jiangang taking second and third place. In the men's twin-tip racing category, Thailand's Narapichit Pudla won the championship, followed by the Philippines' Khristopher Ken Nacor and China's Lin Xing.

In the 2024 Kiteboard Tour China in Daishan, China's Xiao Meijuan won the women's wing foil racing category, China's Mo Yulu won the women's twin-tip racing category, and Zhou Zixi from Hong Kong won the men's wing foil racing category.
