Over 3,000 brand-new domestically produced cars have been parked at the storage yard in the Jintang River-Ocean Combined Logistics Park located in Zhoushan, Zhejiang province, and will be exported to Russia.

These vehicles are from the Geely and Changan brands, primarily SUVs, manufactured in Baoji, Shaanxi province, and Chongqing. The total value of the vehicles exceeds 3 billion yuan ($42.29 million), according to Zhoushan Taosheng Supply Chain Management Co.

This is the third large-scale vehicle export operation at the Jintang logistics park, with a cumulative total of over 5,000 vehicles shipped to date.

As of Sept 11, more than 1,000 empty containers had arrived at the site to load the vehicles.

The timeline for this vehicle export operation is tight with a heavy workload. A professional loading team is handling the task to ensure that the vehicles are efficiently and orderly loaded as planned, according to a representative of the Jintang logistics park.

The shipment is expected to depart from the Jintang port area of Ningbo Zhoushan Port around Sept 18 and reach its destination in Russia within approximately one week.
