Zhoushan has unveiled its latest scenic destination, Yunding Xianxiang, offering visitors an immersive driving experience amidst breathtaking landscapes. Located atop Zhoushan Island's ecological forests, Yunding Xianxiang features stunning viewpoints such as Yangtianwan, Xiaocaifeng, and Gongqiongtai.
The centerpiece of the route is Mawang Mountain, the island's highest accessible peak at 478 meters, where the convergence of the sea, clouds, and forests creates a fairyland-like atmosphere. Visitors have the chance to enjoy serene views, taste local tea, and explore the area's unique landmarks, which inspired its name, Yunding Xianxiang (Fairyland).
This year, Dinghai district expanded the existing 100.5-kilometer Donghai Cultural Corridor to create the 43.9 km Yunding Highway, which spans seven towns and villages. The road connects mountain peaks, tea plantations, and flower fields, offering a panoramic display of clouds, mountains, and the sea year-round.
With fully equipped amenities, including homestays, campsites, and educational experiences, Yunding Xianxiang is the perfect destination for a spontaneous road trip.
