Liuheng Island in Zhoushan, Zhejiang province held a cultural and tourism promotion event in Ningbo, also situated in the province, on April 19.

The event drew participation from over 120 major cultural and tourism enterprises, travel agencies, as well as organizations specializing in study tours and outdoor adventures, hailing from both within and outside the province.

During the event, attendees had the opportunity to view a promotional video highlighting the island's rich cultural and tourism resources.

Representatives from the island provided an overview of its accomplishments in developing the tourism industry and shed light on future trends.

The island secured contracts for eight cultural and tourism projects, encompassing diverse domains such as marine sports, theme parks, tourist attractions, dining, and thematic homestays.

Renowned for its abundant marine resources and profound historical and cultural heritage, Liuheng aims to attract more tourism projects and foster a mutually beneficial development with Ningbo.
