More than 300 sanitation workers in Zhoushan, Zhejiang province gathered together for a heartwarming New Year's Eve dinner on Feb 5.
During the banquet, each sanitation worker received a gift package from the organizers, which included a hat, earmuffs, and gloves, as well as spring couplets and the Chinese character "Fu" (meaning blessing).
Volunteers also offered complimentary services such as haircuts and distributed reading glasses. The highlight of the evening was the celebration of the birthdays of four sanitation workers, adding an extra layer of joy to the occasion.

A representative of the organizers noted that this gathering would help the workers feel the warmth of a larger social family and acknowledge their silent yet significant contribution to maintaining a clean urban environment.
