Dinghai district in Zhoushan, Zhejiang province held an investment promotion conference in Shanghai on Nov 24, according to local media reports.

Five projects related to drinking water, aquatic products processing, hot spring facilities, and camping bases were secured during the event.

The projects will be launched along the district's Donghai Cultural Corridor, which opened to the public this May.

The 100.5-kilometer cultural corridor connects 196 cultural attractions, including ancient villages, ancient temples, cultural relics, and natural landscapes.

The projects will play a crucial role in advancing the integrated development of the district's tourism and culture, and the local government will sustain efforts to optimize its business environment to attract more investment, which will in turn aid in its common prosperity drive, said a local official.
