Updated : 2023-11-22 (chinadaily.com.cn)

In a testament to international cruise business's resurgence, Zhoushan International Cruise Port and its parent company, Putuo Transportation Investment Development Group's port, have adaptively revived its domestic and international cruise operations in 2023. The port's upgraded infrastructure and top-tier reception services have amplified the overall travel experience for visitors.

Noticeably, on Nov 20, Aden, China's first independently designed and constructed five-star cruise ship, docked for the 12 times in the port in 2023. Passengers aboard this vessel will explore attractions like Zhoushan's International Seafood City, immersing themselves in the rich island culture.

The port's services have witnessed a commendable overhaul. As Aden gracefully approached at noon, the power system on the shore seamlessly activated, offering a smooth disembarkation for eagerly awaiting passengers. Material supplies were efficiently replenished, earning praise from the cruise ship captain for the port's stellar reception capabilities.

Elevating its commitment to sustainability, the port introduced a new shore power system, substantially reducing energy consumption during berthing and contributing to green emission practices.

To meet the needs from increasing ships and visitors, the port has not only introduced a passenger corridor system but also lifted restrictions on foreign cruise ship operations since October. Efforts are underway to refine facilities and procedures, promising an enhanced experience for international tourists.

Zhoushan International Cruise Port's dynamic revival encompasses upgraded services, sustainability measures, and an inclusive approach to global cruise operations, solidifying its status as a premier destination for maritime enthusiasts.
