The 19th Nanhai Guanyin Cultural Festival will be held in Mount Putuo, Zhoushan, Zhejiang province, on Nov 12.

An array of traditional activities like praying for blessings and worship will be hosted during the event.

An art and cultural relic exhibition showcasing 40 Buddhist items, a culture and tourism product fair, and a bazaar will also be featured.

The festival is aimed at building a cultural environment in Mount Putuo by advocating Guanyin spirit and culture. Tourists and pilgrims can experience the charm of Buddhist culture.
