Zhoushan's per capita disposable income hits 52,630 yuan in Q1-3

Zhoushan's overall per capita disposable income in the first three quarters of this year increased by 7.1 percent to 52,630 yuan ($7,192.72), according to official data from the Zhoushan branch of the National Bureau of Statistics.

Over the same period, the city's per capita consumption amounted to 33,340 yuan, up 10.6 percent year-on-year.

Specifically, the per capita disposable income of the city's urban residents rose 6.6 percent to 60,311 yuan, while the figure for rural residents was 35,930 yuan, up 8.0 percent.

Wages are still the biggest source of income for residents in Zhoushan, followed by net operating income, net transfer income, and net asset income.

The per capita wage income of Zhoushan's urban residents from January to September stood at 39,724 yuan, a growth of 6.6 percent year-on-year.

Meanwhile, the per capita net transfer income, operating income, and net asset income were 9,107 yuan, 6,523 yuan, and 4,957 yuan, respectively, up 6.9 percent, 6.8 percent and 6.2 percent.

For rural residents, the per capita wage income, operating income, net transfer income and net asset income were 23,874 yuan, 6,607 yuan, 3,605 yuan and 1,844 yuan, respectively, up 8.0 percent, 8.1 percent, 8.3 percent, and 7.5 percent.
