Li Zhiqin, an inheritor of an intangible cultural heritage from Zhoushan, East China's Zhejiang province, has in recent months been busy in crafting various handicrafts revolving around the Asian Games in Hangzhou scheduled to take place from Sept 23 to Oct 8.

Li has created a series of handicrafts, including fishing knots, fishermen's paintings and paper-cutting works featuring Zhoushan's maritime culture, to welcome the sports gala.

Li has also developed cultural and creative products such as canvas bags on which fishermen's paintings are drawn.

Li said that these sports-themed artworks will provide a glimpse into the city's unique fishery customs and history to those who follow the Games.
