Numerous shipbuilding enterprises in Zhoushan, East China's Zhejiang province, displayed their latest products and technological achievements at the 29th Nor-Shipping in Oslo on June 6.

The products, which are related to ship equipment design, manufacturing and supporting technical services, attracted participants from all over the world.

This was largely due to efforts by Zhoushan in recent years to encourage local shipbuilding enterprises to undergo green transformation. The city is currently home to four global top 10 ship repair enterprises and two national green ship repair enterprises.

The added value of Zhoushan's shipbuilding and repair industry for the January-April period of this year increased 37.9 percent year-on-year.

Nearly 1,000 shipbuilding enterprises, classification societies, and supporting manufacturers from across the globe attended the fair. The fair, which is one of the world's most influential, is held every two years.
