Zhoushan in East China's Zhejiang province will hold an island life festival in Haiwan Park from May 19 to 21, according to authorities.

A series of nighttime events, including an outdoor concert, night market, floriculture showcase and camping fair, will be held during the festival as part of the efforts to celebrate Chinese Tourism Day on May 19. 

Visitors will have the chance to enjoy barbecued seafood during, while influencers will promote Zhoushan delicacies via online social media platforms like Douyin and Kuaishou.

The activities will play an important role in promoting consumption and reviving the nighttime economy in the city, according to head of the city's bureau of culture, radio, television, tourism and sports.
