The submarine power transmission sandbox made by State Grid Zhoushan Electric Power Co in East China's Zhejiang province attracted much attention at the 2023 China Brand Expo in Shanghai on May 10.

This is the first time a sandbox that shows a model of a 500-kilovolt crossing-sea networking facility has been displayed to the public.

The sandbox represented technologies developed by Zhoushan Electric Power in the engineering design, construction, experimentation and operation of its submarine power transmission facility, which is key to guaranteeing a safe, green and effective transmission.

About 1,000 brands from across the country were showcased at the expo, according to authorities.
