Exit-entry administration authorities of the public security bureau in Zhoushan, East China's Zhejiang province have rolled out a series of measures to help enterprises attract more high-caliber foreign talents.
Measures include streamlining approval procedures, advancing digital reform, and opening a green channel for its major enterprises.
Zhejiang Mercantile Exchange, which is based in the city, is one of the beneficiaries of the policies.
The exchange, which was designated as Zhoushan's first base for international students pursuing innovation and venture courses, has launched a campaign to recruit top international talents from countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative.
With the support of the green channel policy, the exchange has received more than 10 job applications from international students.
Authorities said they will sustain efforts to provide better visa and outbound services to further promote the opening-up of the Zhoushan area of the China (Zhejiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone.
