The government of Zhoushan, East China's Zhejiang province signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Hangzhou Customs on Feb 24.
According to the agreement, Hangzhou Customs will help Zhoushan with the following tasks: building a resource allocation base for bulk commodities, bolstering its modern marine industry, establishing high-level opening-up platforms, and optimizing its port business environment.
He Zhongwei, Party secretary of Zhoushan, said that cooperative ties between both sides will play a significant role in helping Zhoushan implement national strategies and pursue system innovations.
Wang Wei, commissioner of Hangzhou Customs, said that the agreement will lay a good foundation for carrying out win-win cooperation in broader areas and contribute to Zhoushan's high-quality development.
