Zhoushan holds cultural activities for Spring Festival

Authorities in Zhoushan, East China's Zhejiang province will hold a series of cultural activities to create a festive atmosphere for the upcoming Lunar New Year and the Lantern Festival. 

The activities, which will involve lantern parades, art performances, temple fairs and intangible cultural heritage experience, will showcase the treasures of Zhoushan's traditional culture, according to the authorities. 

The lantern parades, which are themed on the Year of the Rabbit and the city's maritime culture, will be held at the Zhoushan Marine Culture and Art Center from Jan 14 to Feb 5. 

Art performances featuring instruments like the guqin, guzheng and modern bands will be staged at the Zhoushan Marine Culture and Art Center from Feb 4 to 5. 

The temple fairs, which involve paper cutting and riddle guessing activities, will be held at the Zhoushan Marine Culture and Art Center from Feb 4 to 5. 

In addition, the city's library and museum will host cultural activities such as exhibitions and ICH experience events from Jan 10 to Feb 5. More details can be found at their official websites and WeChat accounts.
