Three common prosperity practices in Zhoushan, East China's Zhejiang province have received provincial recognition, according to an announcement by the Zhejiang Provincial Development and Reform Commission on Dec 12, 2022. 

Seventy-one common prosperity practices in the province were recognized. 

One of the common prosperity practices in Zhoushan involves making full use of the city's island-hopping ships, roll-on/off ships, wherry boats and cable ships to deliver care to seniors on remote islands. 

The services, which include conducting medical diagnosis, staging art performances, repairing electrical devices, are aimed at improving the happiness of the elderly people on these islands, said local authorities. 

Another common prosperity practice in the city is the establishment of a livestreaming e-commerce workshop in Shengsi county. The workshop has since its inception played a significant role in expanding the sales channels for local seafood products, providing jobs for residents and improving their incomes.

The third common prosperity practice is the launch of hospital ships in Zhoushan's Putuo district to offer medical services to residents living on the district's remote islands.
