Zhoushan in East China's Zhejiang province recently issued six measures to stabilize its industrial economy in 2023, local media reported on Jan 2.

A total of 20 million yuan ($2.89 million) in incentives will be issued by the Zhoushan government.

For example, if the quarterly output value of the city's above-designated size industrial enterprise exceeds 250 million yuan and the year-on-year growth rate exceeds 10 percent, the top 10 enterprises in terms of increment will be rewarded 200,000 yuan.

A consumption coupon worth 800 yuan and a subsidy of 500 yuan per person will be given to eligible non-local employees who continue working in the city over the Spring Festival.

From Jan 22 to Feb 19, enterprises at the city level that carry out the interprovincial return of employees by means of unified transportation rental such as chartered car, train or plane shall be given a subsidy of 50 percent of the return cost (70 percent for small and micro enterprises).

In addition, from Jan 21 to Feb 28, the city's 14 key scenic spots will offer free admission to non-local employees who stay in the city to spend the Spring Festival with their work certificates and personal ID cards.
