Three places in Zhoushan in East China's Zhejiang province have been included in a provincial program aimed at building "future communities", according to an announcement by the provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development on Nov 15.
Future communities, which are designed to provide better public services in fields such as healthcare, elderly care and education, will play a key role in efforts to drive common prosperity, according to authorities.
Dinghai district's Hejian residential community, Putuo district's Dongjing community and Daishan county's Zhuyu community made the list.
Hejian residential community is a new community that features a harmonious neighborhood, green development and smart sharing facilities.
Dongjing community, which will undergo renovation, will focus efforts on improving governance and providing quality services like education and healthcare.
