A 7,400-square-meter elderly care center in Zhoushan, East China's Zhejiang province will be opened to the public by the end of December, according to local media reports.
The facility has been designed based on the needs of the elderly and will have a nursing home with 180 berths. It will also be equipped with 5G medical devices which would make it easier for residents to receive telemedicine services from hospitals in Shanghai.
The center will also cooperate with public welfare organizations to provide platforms and resources that will meet the elderly's learning demands.
