The per capita disposable income of residents in Zhoushan, East China's Zhejiang province, increased by 5.4 percent to 49,129 yuan ($6,776.85) in the first three quarters of this year, according to official data from the Zhoushan branch of the National Bureau of Statistics.
The per capita disposable income of the city's urban residents rose 4.7 percent to 56,560 yuan, while the figure for rural residents was 33,264 yuan, up 7.2 percent.
Wages are still the biggest source of income for residents in Zhoushan, followed by net operating income, net asset income and net transfer income.
The city's per capita wage income from January to September stood at 32,435 yuan, an increase of 5.3 percent year-on-year.
Meanwhile, per capita operating income, net asset income and net transfer income were 6,107 yuan, 3,725 yuan and 6,861 yuan, up 5 percent, 5.4 percent and 5.8 percent, respectively.
