A series of activities will be held in Zhoushan, East China's Zhejiang province, to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival that falls on Sept 10 this year, according to local media reports. 

A gala show featuring local singers and a cheongsam showcase will be staged at Xincheng Haiwan Park at 7:30 pm on Sept 10. 

Activities such as art and folk song performances, fairs and DIY mooncakes events will be held in the Dinghai Ancient Town and the Donghai Sky Corridor from 6:40 pm to 8:10 pm on Sept 10. 

A livestreaming event will be held at Putuo Museum at 7:30 pm on Sept 11 to showcase the local customs related to the Mid-Autumn Festival. 

A fair featuring more than 70 stalls selling local delicacies, cultural and creative products and agricultural produce will be held in Luxiaxu village in Putuo district from Sept 10 to 11. Dragon dance performances and DIY lanterns activities will also be staged during the fair. 

More than 10 activities including a go-karting race will be held at the Nandong Art Valley scenic spot during the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday. 

A cultural fair will also be held at Lianghuayang Park in Putuo district during the holiday period.
