An online business meeting between Zhoushan in East China's Zhejiang province and the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China was held on June 30.

The meeting was attended by representatives from more than 40 companies in Europe, including GTT, ABB, Accenture Consulting, and BASF. These companies are involved in new petrochemical materials, fuel cells, maritime services, advanced manufacturing, and biological medicine.

The Zhoushan Investment Promotion Center briefed them on the city's overall investment environment and development of the maritime economy. Representatives from the city's counties and districts talked with the company representatives about future cooperation and preferential policies.

Participating companies spoke highly of Zhoushan's unique strengths in the maritime economy and its favorable business environment. Some of them are expected to visit Zhoushan very soon in search of cooperation opportunities.

So far this year, the investment promotion center has organized numerous such promotion activities both online and offline to bring in more investment and boost local economic development.
