Daishan county is making full use of its abundant renewable resources, including wind energy, tidal current energy, and solar energy, to build a green energy industrial chain.

For example, the tidal stream generator unit in Daishan was connected to the State grid after two months of trial operations on April 29.

The unit, which boasts the world's largest tidal stream generator, is expected to generate 2 million kilowatt hours of electricity and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 19.94 million metric tons per year.
