Zhoushan in East China's Zhejiang province recently published measures to attract high-level talent, local media reported on Feb 8.
One of these measures involve providing entrepreneurial teams consisting of qualified talent with maximum subsidies of 200 million yuan ($31.41 million), and research institutes at provincial or national levels with subsidies of up to 10 million yuan.
Companies in Zhoushan that bring in high-level talent will be awarded 100,000 yuan per talent. The city will also raise the subsidies for university students doing internships in local companies.
By 2025, Zhoushan is expected to attract another 500 foreign experts, 500 marine engineers, and 100,000 graduates.
