Three forests in Zhoushan, East China's Zhejiang province, were listed as Zhejiang forest oxygen bars in 2021 by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Forestry.
A forest oxygen bar refers to a place with many negative oxygen ions due to trees, springs, streams, and falls.
Here are two of the listed forest oxygen bars in Zhoushan.

The Changgang Mountain forest oxygen bar is located in Zhoushan forest farm, 95 percent of which is covered with forest, including broad-leaved forest, forest for non-timber products, and bamboo forest. Its negative oxygen ion content has always been 3,000 negative oxygen ions per cubic centimeter.

Ma'ao has been following the principle of lucid waters and lush mountains being invaluable assets to create a beautiful natural environment. In 2017, Ma'ao was recognized as a 3A-level scenic village in Zhejiang.
