Construction of 15 projects in Zhoushan begins

A breakground ceremony for 15 projects in Zhoushan, East China's Zhejiang province was held in the city on Jan 6.

The 15 projects have a total investment of 47.8 billion yuan ($7.49 billion).

These are some of the 15 projects:

Jintang–Dasha section of second lane of Ningbo–Zhoushan Double-lane Expressway

The second lane of the Ningbo–Zhoushan Double-lane Expressway starts from Haosifang in Ningbo and ends in Dasha subdistrict in Zhoushan and has a total length of 45.23 kilometers.

Spanning 18.92 km, the Jintang–Dasha section is a two-way, six-lane expressway with a designed speed limit of 100 km per hour. Sixteen bridges and seven tunnels will be established along this section.

Zhoushan Zero-carbon Industrial Park

Construction of the first phase of the Zhoushan Zero-carbon Industrial Park will be completed by the end of this year. The 500-million-yuan first phase will house a production line that can produce 200 offshore intelligent wind turbines every year.

Tuwan residential community's school

With a total investment of 260 million yuan, the school in Tuwan residential community, Putuo district, will have 45 classes that can accommodate 1,800 students.

The school will be completed by the end of 2023 and put into operation in 2024.
