Yinmei Automotive Interior Parts Co Ltd in Zhoushan, East China's Zhejiang province, has been listed among the top 50 private multinationals in Zhejiang, local media reported on Dec 21.

Zhoushan Yinmei Automotive Interior Parts Co Ltd (50th), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shanghai Daimay Automotive Interior Co Ltd, specializes in the production and marketing of automobile sun shields, seat assembly and headrests, and the foreign trade of cargo and technology.

The list was compiled by the Zhejiang Outbound Investment Enterprises Association and the Zhejiang Zhijiang Institute of Transnational Corporations based on overseas assets, foreign trade, and other indexes.

These listed private multinationals have combined overseas assets of 565 billion yuan ($88.69 billion), annual overseas operating revenue of 572.6 billion yuan, and 260,000 overseas employees. Their combined exports totaled $23.1 billion in 2020.

Based on overseas assets, Hangzhou-based Zhejiang Geely Holding Group, Wenzhoub-based Tsingshan Holding Group, and Ningbo Joyson Electronic Corp secured the top three spots.

Among the top 50 private multinationals, there were 18 from Hangzhou, nine from Ningbo, seven from Shaoxing, four from Wenzhou and Jiaxing respectively, three from Taizhou, two from Huzhou, and one from Jinhua, Quzhou and Zhoushan respectively.
