Zhoushan companies reached a combined intended contract amount of 3.03 million at the recently-concluded Zhejiang Plastics Machinery Industry (Zhoushan-Middle East/South Asia) Online Exhibition, local media reported on Dec 7.

The online exhibition, which is an important part of "Zhejiang Week" event during the ongoing Expo 2020 Dubai, attracted 40 injection molding machine screw manufacturers in Zhoushan as well as 56 professional purchasers from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and other countries.

Affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, the injection molding machine screw companies in the city are still faced with difficulties in expanding their overseas presence and retaining overseas customers.

With the help of the Zhoushan trade promotion organization, the Zhejiang trade promotion organization and Zhoushan municipal government sponsored the exhibition to help local companies expand and secure more orders online.
