Teachers and students in Zhoushan, East China's Zhejiang province are advised to stay in the province during the upcoming holidays, according to the local education bureau.

They are encouraged to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays in Zhoushan. In addition, local teachers and students are advised to not visit medium and high-risk areas or travel abroad unless absolutely necessary.

Teachers and students are required to receive approval from the principal of their school if they must leave Zhoushan and ensure that their trips are trackable.

When holidays end, teachers and students returning from other provinces are required to offer a nucleic acid test report taken within 48 hours.

Schools in Zhoushan will adopt closed management during the holidays. People need to have their temperature taken, as well as show their health QR code and travel QR code before entering schools.

Teachers and students aged above 12 are advised to receive vaccines as soon as possible, while random nucleic acid testing will be carried out among local students.
