Entrepreneurs from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area visited Zhoushan, East China's Zhejiang province from Sept 2 to 4, local media reported.

During the three-day trip, these entrepreneurs visited Dinghai Industrial Park, the Zhousan Marine Industry Cluster Area in Zhoushan Archipelago New Area, and Putuo Economic Development Zone.

"We expect to build a marine industry innovation center to boost the development of the marine economy in Zhoushan," said Ba Xuan from Huawei Technologies Co Ltd.

He added that they are attracted by the city's good geographical position and favorable investment climate.

The participating entrepreneurs are mainly engaged in smart manufacturing, high-end equipment, electronic information, medical care, and the aerospace industry.

In the first half of the year, Zhoushan received more than 20 groups of visiting entrepreneurs, as well as organized promotion meetings in Shenzhen and Shanghai.

Moving forward, the city will ramp up efforts to attract investment from leading companies in the second half of the year.
