70 armed police take part in Zhoushan rescue efforts

Seventy police officers and soldiers were dispatched by the armed police detachment in Zhoushan to carry out rescue and disaster relief in the city on July 26, the day Typhoon In-Fa made its second landfall in the province.

Fifty of these individuals were responsible for evacuating residents in the Zijing Community of Dinghai district, filling low-lying areas, and transporting important materials. The remaining people were in charge of draining water, carrying materials, and relocating residents in the Kaiyuan Community of Dinghai district.

On July 25, Typhoon In-Fa made landfall at the coastal area of Putuo district in Zhoushan at around 12:30 pm, with the maximum wind speed reaching 136.8 kilometers per hour.
