Zhoushan, along with Sanya, Qingdao, and Dalian, was among the most popular destinations for family travelers in China, a report by the online travel booking platform Ctrip showed recently.

After the summer vacation commenced this year, Zhoushan's tourism industry has experienced a significant growth.

On July 17, Daqing Mountain scenic area received a record high of 10,380 tourists in a day, while all the hotels in the city were almost booked up on the weekend.

Scenic areas in Zhoushan also offered amusement projects to entertain tourists, such as nighttime swimming, water tricycles, and motorboats in Zhujiajian scenic area, as well as recreational vehicle camping in Daqing Mountain scenic area.
