Reform in the entry and exit supervision of international ships by the Zhoushan area of the China (Zhejiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone was recently recognized as one of the best practices by the Ministry of Commerce, local media reported on July 6.
The application information by international ships can be reutilized on the international trade "single window" platform, while the application procedures have been further streamlined to improve the efficiency of international ships entering and leaving the port.
During the reform, Zhoushan has also cooperated with Zhangjiagang, Ningbo, and other port cities to explore innovation.
Zhoushan will help other ports to reuse the application information by international ships via the "single window" platform and familiarize ship agencies with such a function.
