The Marine Sci-tech Business Incubator in Dinghai district, Zhoushan, East China's Zhejiang province was recently included in the fourth batch of provincial business incubators, local media reported.

Covering an area of 0.88 square kilometers, the business incubator is a multifunctional high-tech industrial park featuring business offices, facilities for pilot plant tests, hotels, apartments, and exhibition areas.

The business incubator can also offer one-stop services, including talent recruitment, financial services, and intellectual property right application.

In recent years, Zhoushan has rolled out a series of preferential policies to support the development of business incubators.

One million yuan ($154,812) worth of subsidies will be given to a newly-established business incubator and 200,000 yuan worth of subsidies will be awarded to those that receive municipal recognition.

To date, Zhoushan is home to 14 business incubators, including a national-level incubator and four provincial ones, which have created nearly 7,000 jobs.
