Zhoushan receives 170,000 visitors during Duanwu Festival

Zhoushan in East China's Zhejiang province welcomed 170,554 visitors during the three-day Duanwu Festival holiday, also known as Dragon Boat Festival holiday, which lasted from June 12 to 14 this year, local media reported.

Most of the visitors came from Jiangsu, Anhui, Shanghai, Henan, and Shandong, while Ningbo, Hangzhou, Taizhou, Shaoxing, and Jiaxing were the top five Zhejiang cities with the largest number of visitors to Zhoushan.

Red tourism sites were especially popular among Zhoushan visitors, including red education bases and revolutionary museums, attracting many families.

In order to entertain local residents and visitors, Zhoushan organized 25 activities during the festival.
